A few days ago, we changed the ranking order for our Webgamefavorites Rankings List.

The reason for this change is that we noticed that with the old ranking method (based on the average votes of all past months) resulted in a very stagnant ranking. One site, which had one particulary good month, kept it's positions for months afterwards, despite the fact that other sites had already had more votes per month for the last few months.

The WGF discussed this, and decided that it would not be fair to continue ranking in this way. After all: if you have a site, and you put in a good effort, you want to see it reflected in the months rankings.

That is why we now order the webgames based on the number of votes they got in the current month.

This should provide a better reflection of the actual positions of webgames.
